Corrections and Retractions Policy

The Journal of International Commercial Law and Technology (JICLT) is committed to maintaining the accuracy and integrity of the scholarly record. When significant errors or ethical issues are identified, the journal will issue corrections or retract articles in accordance with COPE guidelines.

Key Points

  • Published errors affecting the accuracy of an article will be corrected promptly.

  • Minor errors may be addressed through a Correction (Erratum or Corrigendum).

  • Articles may be retracted in cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, duplicate publication, or serious ethical misconduct.

  • Retraction decisions are made by the Editor following a fair investigation.

  • Authors are given an opportunity to respond before a final decision is made.

  • All corrections and retractions are published transparently and remain linked to the original article to preserve the integrity of the scholarly record.
